Subject: bug in the hebrew translation of the program 'info' 1) Thanks for the report. 2) Please send plain text email if possible, not HTML attachments. 3) I guess Eli Zaretskii did the Hebrew messages for Texinfo, and he is on this list, so hopefully he can check/fix the bug.
Thanks, karl Hi. We had found a bug in the hebrew translation of the program 'info', the documentation browser. When running info while the LANG environment variable is set to 'hebrew', a help line in the bottom of the info screen tells me I can hit '?' for help. The problem is that the hebrew word for 'help' is spelled incorrectly, ending with 'Aleph' () instead of 'Heh' (). Please note that this word, while ending with 'Aleph' creates a common name for a person, so there is no reason for a speller to find it as a problem. _______________________________________________ Texinfo home page: http://www.gnu.org/software/texinfo/ [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-texinfo
