Hello, Texinfo should provide a means to distribute localised version of info pages.
The system to do this should be fairly simple. Under /usr/share/info let packages install info pages into xx_XX/ where xx is the country code and XX is the dialect or region. The man system does something very similar to this. When the user invokes info the locale environment variables will determine which info page to generate.
