The current behavior is already different from Emacs: My main point was that the *default* behavior should be the same.
The more behavior and option names that can be the same, the better, but I don't think we can realistically expect perfect synchronicity. Personally, I (think I) agree with Benno that the best behavior would be to scroll (with SPC) through index nodes "normally", moving to the next index node if there is one, and stopping at the last one if it's the end of the document. Sequentially "scrolling" through the index menu seems rather strange. It's nothing I'm going to make a priority to implement, though. Index nodes can be distinguished from regular menus with the [EMAIL PROTECTED]@^H] tag we added a couple of releases ago. karl
