Ok, in this hypothetical world where texi2html has all the features of
makeinfo, we then come to the non-technical point, which is whether the
texi2html authors would be willing to make it GNU ... preferably with an
assignment, since Texinfo is such a fundamental part of GNU.
I also wonder how many people run makeinfo in environments that lack
perl, but I suppose however many there are, more would lack
Guile/Scheme.
