I have done it like a quotation, so within a <blockquote> and with some
    optionnally prepended text, but with some

    class="smallquotation", and blockquote.smallquotation = font-size: smaller

    In xml same than quotation, but with <smallquotation> instead of
    <quotation>.

Thanks, all that sounds good. I (belatedly) added it to the TexinfoXML DTD.

    However I don't know how to do it in docbook (differently than a
    quotation).

The other @small... envs are identical to their normal-size counterparts
in docbook, so doing the same for @smallquotation is fine. Docbook's
limitations aren't our problem.

Thanks,
Karl
