Follow-up Comment #2, bug #8218 (project texinfo):
fine on @: but i still don't agree on "@ ", sorry. the alttext arg is
supposed to be texinfo text, and "@ " is a reasonable command to have there.
just because it happens to be at the end of the string is no reason for the
processors to mess up parsing it, seems to me.
