Hi, is it worth making a "snapshot" texinfo release just to get the latest texinfo.tex out into the world?
All the distros have texinfo-4.13 from 2008 -- it looks like they only update when there is a new release (they don't seem to use the texinfo.tex at ftp.gnu.org).
