Thanks! I've installed that package, but I still get errors. In
particular, TeX spuriously detects errors and starts prompting me with "?
", which really isn't what's wanted in a batch command. I'll get around
to looking at the logs, sometime.
In the end, I solved the immediate problem by running texi2dvi on an old
PC. This is suboptimal. I really need to solve this.
