This builds with MinGW on MS-Windows, and passes all tests, thanks. Would it be OK for me to submit 3 short Windows batch files, to be installed in the $prefix/bin directory when "make install" is run on MS-Windows, so that Perl scripts could be invoked from the Windows shell command prompt? That's because Windows doesn't support the #! method of invoking scripts. Each of the 3 batch files is a 2-liner: @echo off perl "%~dpn0" %* TIA
