"distclean" then rerun the "configure" and "make" and it succeeds. Go figure. I
did a clean svn checkout.It wasn't just r6074, but also when I did r6069 which
also failed with the 2nd try regarding the texindex, but that is already fixed
in r6074.
Cross-compiling is not being done yet. Only the prelude to the tools is being
done.
