The next pretest for the upcoming Texinfo 6.1 release has been uploaded to

There have not been many changes since the last pretest:
* A bug where broken URL's could result when "@allowcodebreaks false"
was used has been fixed.
* The XS extension module for makeinfo tries harder to find a UTF-8
locale to use.
* A bug where the XS extension module could be compiled with the wrong
compiler if the -C option was given to ./configure has been fixed.
* A bug where @{ and @} wouldn't work in the argument to @xref has been fixed.

If all goes well, we hope to release Texinfo 6.1 in a few days' time.
Note also that the previous pretest, texinfo-6.0.92, changed the
location where some files were installed (${libdir}/texinfo instead of
${libexecdir}/texinfo), so you may wish to delete the left-over files.
