Bourne shell is not Bash. However you cannot expect the
implementation to be 100% compliant, people make errors.

Whether my patch fixes an error in texi2dvi or works around
a bug in bash's sh is unimportant. The patch is tiny, does
not decrease maintainability and fixes an error, so there
is no reason not to apply it.
