Earlier today, I did 113 builds of texinfo-6.1.90 in our extensive
test farm of scores of versions of Unix-like systems using CC=cc. Of
those builds, 101 succeeded and passed all tests.
Of the remaining failures, the Solaris, OpenIndiana, and Hipster
(Illumos) ones were repaired by using CC=c99.
On two old Mac OS X systems, I got a few test failures:
