To GNU Texinfo Bug Team, I am using Linux From Scratch 8.3. In chapter 5.32, I ran the test suite and all 172 tests failed. To my knowledge, all preceding instructions should have been executed correctly.
In order to reproduce the bug, no input file is needed. I have carried out all steps indicated by the LFS 8.3 book before chapter 5.32. I issued exactly these four commands for chapter 5.32. (working directory is inside texinfo-6.5, the unpacked tarball) ./configure --prefix=/tools make make check I skipped the installing of texinfo since make check was errorneous. Please notify me for workarounds to this problem. I'll just skip installing texinfo for now. Best Regards William
