I think that it is too early to mention changes in the HTML customization API in NEWS. When it is stable enough it would be good, but for now this is probably too early. In particular because it is tied to the Texinfo tree, and although the HTML customization API is probably getting quite stable these days, the Texinfo tree is likely to see some changes. -- Pat
