I disagree, I think that @*heading command after a node is a natural setting for a manual organized in topics that do not follow a sectionning tree. Like it can be done with dita/mallard/DocBook topics. I think that we should make writing manuals in the topics style simpler and more natural, associating @node to @*headings and having that possibility work well would be a step in that direction. -- Pat
