This may be old news, but ....
After installing Red Hat Linux, I discover the behaviour of
sort has changed, breaking some existing scripts.
Additionally the -n and -g switches do not seem to allow me
to get what I would like. In fact they do not seem to change
the behaviour of sort at all (for this file anyway).
Incidentally, this file shows forces necessary to support the
6.5 meter telescope mirror at the MMT observatory.
