Do you have a "sum" routine that I can call from my C program that will return a file's checksum and block counts? I am currently using the sum tool in GNU textutils 2.0a written by Kayvan Aghaiepour and David MacKenzie. I am using system calls from my C program to run the tool. This is really slow. Thank you.
