I'm doing a check of http://motherlode.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/ldm/genweb?native/radar/level3/N0R/GRR/20 090212
every 5 minutes to grab the newest file only, with filenames that always change (i.e. timestamps are never the same day to day or even hour to hour.) If I do wget -r -N it does the job, but it seems to take a lengthy process to check each and every file. Is there a way to tell it to just compare what's newest on the server and compare to my local side? - Rob
