Thanks a lot for the response. As of now, I feel that easiest solution will be just to compare the file size OR just to use "wget -N" command to ensure that local and remote copies of the file are same. Any idea regarding why wget -N command is not working. All other options are working fine. Its failing with: <<Proxy request sent, awaiting response... 400 Bad Request 2009-07-28 09:55:39 ERROR 400: Bad Request.>>
If wget -N does not work , can I use output message from wget command to check the file size..?? i.e. check following information: << 100%[===================================================================================>] 22,774 --.-K/s in 0.004s Last-modified header missing -- time-stamps turned off. 2009-07-28 09:52:43 (5.09 MB/s) - `C090725.eod' saved [22774/22774] >> Regards, Anamika =====-----=====-----===== Notice: The information contained in this e-mail message and/or attachments to it may contain confidential or privileged information.
