[Bug-wget] information on WGET

I have seen the WGET tool and really impressed the way it works, i have
used the tool for retrieving a file that is available at server
location.  I used in my JAVA program with out any difficulty thanks for
the tool,
 
I would like to know the code or the way it is implemented in the tool
so that i can use / rewrite the same in using JAVA so that instead of
using tool i can use the concept and write it in java as i have some
restrictions in using the tool.
