As far as I'm aware, Wget doesn't have problems with spaces or plusses (it doesn't do anything in particular with them, or treat them as special); so I can't really help figure out what's not working for you without more details on exactly what you're attempting, and how. The version of Wget you're running (wget --version) will also be helpful, and you should also try adding the --debug flag with your command, to see if Wget will tell you more information about what might be going wrong. - -- HTH, Micah J.
