When you say "I try to make several requests to the same site", do you mean that you're running wget multiple times? Of course, anything wget stores in memory (dns cache) is only good for a single wget session. It's meant to help with things such as recursive traversal of a site, or multiple appearances of the same site in the list of URLS to be downloaded, not multiple invocations of wget. - -- HTH, Micah J.
