Zitat von Giuseppe Scrivano <gscriv...@gnu.org>:
A new alpha version is here:
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/wget/wget-1.12-2359.tar.bz2
Hi Giuseppe,
Thanks for these downloadable test versions.
In recent years I used to test the wget developement versions directly
from the source repositories, but so far I have not figured out how to
do this with your new Bazaar repository.
With the former Mercurial repository I did (according to the
documentation in Micah's Wget Wiki
http://wget.addictivecode.org/RepositoryAccess) once
hg clone http://hg.addictivecode.org/wget/mainline wget-hg
and got updates later in my local directory wget-hg with
hg update
With the Bazaar repository I did (as you wrote in another mail to the
mailing list) once
bzr branch http://bzr.savannah.gnu.org/r/wget/trunk wget-bzr
and have a local directory wget-bzr now.
But a subsequent "bzr update" in wget-bzr only tells me that
everything is up-to-date, what I cannot really believe as in the
meantime you have already published 2 new versions on
ftp://alpha.gnu.org.
Probably simple "pilot error", misunderstanding how this bzr system
works. ;-)
