RoboCopy is free and was even included in the NT Resource Kit.

You snipped out the text so I'll bring it back.

To me the the above plus the example showing "G:" is enough to indicate that 
all that is 
needed is a full copy of the "G:" subdirectory tree containing said courseware. 
 Since it 
is a Mapped Drive "G:"  we are working at the application layer not the 
protocol layer and 
thus have a wealth of utilities available to accomplish this task.  Erwin did 
not specify 
that the tools to be used had to be free and thus that status is a moot point.
