Hello,

We have observed plenty of malicious sites (malware/phishing) which abuse
compromised servers by tampering with their error page settings via injected
.htaccess files.

Problem: It seems that currently wget (Wget 1.11.4 Red Hat) cannot retrieve
the source code of such 404 pages while some other web clients can.

Example (will give malicious URL inbetween </HEAD> and <BODY> ):
wget hxxp://tokyogal.jp/unexisting

curl, lynx etc. will show the page source - wget not :/

Personally I do love wget but only this one part makes it impossible to use
for automated takedown request which concern sites like the above one.
It would be very handy if there could be an option to _not_ abort on 404
pages.

Thank you for your attention.

Kind regards,
