'wget -q' is not quiet anymore.

Which option should I use to get the old behaviour of '-q'?

This is a known bug: https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44403

It's been fixed in Git. Either download and install the latest source snapshot,
or downgrade to Wget 1.16.1, which is the latest version not affected by this
issue. We expect to have this fixed in the next stable release.

Instructions on how to download and compile a source snapshot:
http://wget.addictivecode.org/RepositoryAccess
To get Wget 1.16.1, head on to our FTP site: http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/wget/

At the time of writing, some distributions, namely Debian, don't still include
the latest Wget version in their packages.
