Hi Dale, could you create local commits (maybe you already have) and attach the output of 'git format-patch -1' (-1 = last one commit, -2 = last two commits, ...) ?
That also preserves the commit message (which should be GNU style, see 'git log' for examples or see https://www.gnu.org/prep/standards/ standards.html#Style-of-Change-Logs). That would be a great help. Regards, Tim
