Hello there, I am Sumit Lakra, a student of B.Tech in Information Technology, at Delhi University India. I am in the 2nd year now and this is my first attempt at GSoC. I am an advanced C programmer and have experience with TCP/IP programming too. I am really interested in working on the following project. This is my first attempt at GSoC.
[1] Design and implementation of a statistics module. Since, this is my first attempt at GSoC, and I have no prior open-source experience I have chosen a project which is labeled as 'easy' in the Ideas page and for which I have the required skills. I am still going through the wget2 code, and I would be extremely grateful if you could guide me to any particular resource or tell me how to proceed with this task.. like which part of code do I need to get really acquainted with and other stuff.
