Hello, I try to get colourized output from xboard. I use following alias to call xboard: alias zh=' xboard -sgf /home/ciedan/schach/partien_eigene/online -ics -icshost 69.36.243.188 -size medium -icshelper /home/ciedan/timeseal.Linux -colorTell red -colorChannel1 cyan -colorKibitz magenta -colorSeek blue' Xboard starts without error message but the output stays as before. I also tryed to use a .Xdefaults as described in the man-page, no success either. Or have I to merge the .Xdefaults in some way? In another forum I read .Xdefaults is no longer in use, when this is true which file should I use then?
Info about the system: OpenSuSE 10.0, the terminal programm, konsole I use is capable of printing in color. I also tryed it with xterm.
