I defined a few shortcut keys in .Xresources, as follows:
XBoard*form.translations: \
<Key>v: PastePositionProc() \n\
<Key>c: CopyPositionProc() \n\
<Key>Left: LoadPrevPositionProc() \n\
<Key>Up: LoadPrevPositionProc() \n\
<Key>Down: LoadNextPositionProc() \n\
<Key>Right: LoadNextPositionProc() \n\
<Key>o: LoadPositionProc() \n\
<Key>f: FlipViewProc()
None of these shortcut keys work until I click the XBoard window once.
After that, they work correctly.
(As an aside, I'd like to suggest that the keyboard arrow keys should be
enabled by default for navigating back/forward in a PGN or EPD file.)

P.S. Is there a way to submit feature requests for XBoard? I tried the
online bug tracking system, but it makes no distinction between a bug report
and a feature request. Should I use this mailing list?
