Could you please do the following? * Remove (or rename) ~/.xboardrc, start xboard with the -debug flag, and reproduce the problem. Send us the xboard.debug file that is created. Also send the ~/.xboardrc file that gets created.
* Do "xlsfonts > xlsfonts.txt" and send us the xlsfonts.txt file. * Do "locale > locale.txt" and send us the locale.txt file. * Put back your ~/.xboardrc file that you manually edited, start xboard with the -debug flag, and confirm that you don't see the problem. Send us that ~/.xboardrc file and the xboard.debug file that is created. Be sure to label the two .xboardrc and xboard.debug files so that we don't get confused about which is which. Thanks!
