I just changed something in that area, to fix bug #45775. This may be related to that fix. BTW, I managed to push my entire master branch to Savannah, by temporarily resurrecting my old laptop that still had all the necessary ssh keys. (But completely dead batteries, a power connector broken off the motherboard, an obsolete WiFi adapter that cannot connect to my current router, and a Linux that does not see my USB connectors...)
