Please don't break backward compatibility on my account. After all, I am
also using the Event tag in a non-standard way. I'm okay with changing
my tags.

Couple things to look at.
1. Maybe the Event tag handling is good enough, but look for a SetUp
and/or FEN as well. Because I think a lot of variants need a FEN.
2. In the specific case of nocastle maybe just don't raise an error at all.
