I an trying to install Xnee-3.0.1 on yellowdog linux on a Apple G5.

I have libX11 and changed /etc/X11/xorg.conf  and added "record"  there

Still while running gnee, i get  that record extension is not found

Is something wrong i am doing

The CPU shouldn't matter. But I am interested in what X server you're
using. Can you send over the first lines of the printout from the command:

 xdpyinfo
