Follow-up Comment #1:
I am not sure how to handle this in a way that is OS and distribution
independent. Debian and Ubuntu can add a build dep, but when compiling from
source it's important to get it right.
Will look for gtk-config. If that is found, the script will continue to look
for gnome.h and warn if not present.
If gtk-config is not found, the script warns and continues to try its best...
we can't bail out since we don't really know where to check for the header
files (without gtk-config)
Works well under my Debian machine.
