I just tested Sikuli today. Sikuli does not solve the same problem as Xnee, but there is a certain overlap, and for some jobs Sikuli may be more suitable than Xnee.
My task today was hard to solve with Xnee as it included clicking a button in a window that would pop up after some time in a random place on the screen.
