This patch works, but is more a workaround. In the end makedevs should not
install binaries I think.

I added the information to a upstream bug as this is not an OpenMoko only
problem.
http://bugs.openembedded.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2820

I leave this bug open until it gets upstream and we can use the fix.

Thanks for your report and time.

As *.openmoko.org already has good certificates (c.f. bug 398) it would be nice
if your shop could also have a certificate that I can verify.

Any chance of getting this fixed before GTA02 is released?

Please make this the AUX button. I like to quickly silence my phone when it
starts ringing and a hardware button would allow you to do so blind.

Great. Thanks for the update.

Once 3.15 is out we will use it and do some tests. If all goes well we can
finally close this bug.

------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-08-22 16:26 -------
I have now tried on an Acer n30 with Letux Linux. There, it appears to work.

I have also contacted the maintainer of Dropbear (Matt Johnston) and sent him a
system call trace
(strace).

What I noticed: if dropbear runs under control of strace it is quite difficult
to get the bug. Only if I write
the log to a RAM disk.

So it might be a mixture of a race condition bug in Dropbear, processor/kernel
speed and I/O activity.
