What should I be looking at to make qemu's calibration match what the real neo

So why can't qemu just return the same calibration as the real device?
We shouldn't need to have a different pointer calibration depending on whether
we're running in the emulator or not.
(Can someone point me towards the code in qemu that is responsible for this? I
can't figure out where it is)

Summary: Integrate SCM commits with bugzilla entries for closing

A better integration between our SCM, svn only atm, and the bugzilla is needed.
We should be able to close a bug by just adding some magic like "Close BugID#"
to the commit messages and a svn hook should take care about updating the entry
with the commit message and closing the bug.
There are different solutions available for this which needs to be evaluated.

The emulated ADC should return values at least similar to those on a real GTA01.

qemu should not fake any part of the host, whatever is emulated is by definition
the emulation target. Qemu already provides enough interface for a separate
process to be able to fake this part of the host, although linux + dummy_hcd +
gadgetfs do exactly this and I don't think it's worth reimplementing in
userspace.
If you are unable to run a linux kernel directly on your host (note that this
would cause you problems with a physical Neo1973 as well), run it in qemu, which
is cross-platform.

The neo usb networking is supposed to work from both linux and windows (I am not
sure about MacOSX).
Having to (re)compile gadgetfs and dummy_hcd to be able to log into the emulated
neo via ssh seems quite silly to me. It's confusing for new users, and makes it
much more difficult and expensive to use the emulator on Windows or MacOSX. I
did get it working on my laptop, but not on my build host which is running
debian etch with a 2.6.18 kernel. (gadgetfs and dummy_hcd continously spewed
errors)
It would be extremely nice to have a qemu binary package for both Windows and
OSX that can allow someone wanting to try out the openmoko device without having
to run an emulator in an emulator.
Must we close this? Can't we leave it open as an enhancement for someone in the
community to fix?

You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla
bugsystem (http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/) that require
attention.
All of these bugs are in the NEW state, and have not been touched
in 7 days or more. You need to take a look at them, and
decide on an initial action.
Generally, this means one of three things:
(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to someone
else. (Hint: if you don't know who to reassign it to, make sure that
the Component field seems reasonable, and then use the "Reassign bug to
owner of selected component" option.)
(3) You decide the bug belongs to you, but you can't solve it this moment.
Just use the "Accept bug" command.
To get a list of all NEW bugs, you can use this URL (bookmark it if you like!):
http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&[EMAIL
PROTECTED]
Or, you can use the general query page, at
http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/query.cgi.
Appended below are the individual URLs to get to all of your NEW bugs that
haven't been touched for a week or more.
You will get this message once a day until you've dealt with these bugs!
