Setting as blocker for the standby power parent bug 458
Needs to be checked on current rev kernel on GTA-02 to see if it is still an
issue, because it will impact standby consumption quite badly.

It seems we misunderstood what this bug is about from the title.

How does this lack of awareness of why we woke up affect the userspace apps,
ie, is this something we must attack before shipping anything?

If I understood #80, grepping /proc/cmdline can get the reason information if
not the notification part.

Sounds like validation of the HDQ action effectively blocks release since it
involves a new hardware spin. Adding as blocker for BZ341/release.

We need to measure boot time and put numbers on this. A report from nearly a
year ago that it used to be "slow" can't be attacked.

This is assigned to Willie, but I don't think we can take this on, it is not
kernel related. I will reassign to jserv (sorry mate) since he is actually
working on it recently. If there is a better person please reassign it
further.

What is the plan to resolve this, then: there seem to be two patches talked
about, Harald/Fabien's and Mike's. But I didn't see a response from testing
them or a resolution of which is best accepted into the actual working
patchset.

Going to close as WORKSFORME since there is no reproduction or further info
since 3 months, and there is nothing we can do with what we have.

Just had a second occurrence. Same setup as last time, occured after playing
around with the bridges game of oh-puzzles.

Was able to find the code in question in the pulseaudio svn. Error seems to
occur when the function "find_next_time_event" returns null.
