I think people are using the priority and severity bit, but not the rest of
it. If BZ doesn't have a nice way I guess you could just edit the code to
issue those with a HIDDEN attribute.

The version of aba18c571f07e8467dac488a3ca0697002628d9c on
http://folks.o-hand.com/andrew/gsmd.git
is dealing with RING timeout but not +CRING timeout.
This patch is committed as R3572.
It works for gsmd with AT+CRC=0 && without AT%CPI=2 or 3
Currently gsmd use the %CPI information to tell if a call is disconnected.
A timeout scheme of +CRING is still needed if another modem, without %CPI
support, is used.

After clicking couple of time on dial it actually dialed so I cannot reproduce
this longer error message. The
short one appears from time to time...

Willie found #1017 which sounds very similar in terms of unreliable IO between
the CPU and the display controller... going to try their U-Boot patch.

OK, I reproduced it. Then I logged over ssh to Neo and run command:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ phone-kit
** (process:1239): WARNING **: Failed to make a connection to the session bus:
Failed to execute dbus-
launch to autolaunch D-Bus session
This did not fix the dialer error (clicking couple of times on dial results in
displaying the longer error
message).
