Summary: openmoko-theme-standard2-qvga not working
Product: OpenMoko
Version: unspecified

Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Theming / Gtk+

images built with openmoko-theme-standard2-qvga have problems with the theme: it
is not really display. insted of "window decorations" or whatever that is
called? I see a gray/white dotted frame on the left and bottom of the display
and boxes are not moveable.

this shows the
somebody managed to build an image containing 22x22 icons for me. now it looks
a bit better but I have some glitches.
first time I booted I saw the X background described in comment #1. after a
reboot there was a blue gtk theme instead which is better than nothing but
it's not the appropriate openmoko-theme-standard2-qvga.
another thing are two flashing bars on the bottom. they move up and down,
blinking. I think it should be some kind of toolbar because there appears a
small orange button when I click it at a certain spot.
see attached screenshot for detail

Changing the name, since this is by design. You are supposed to ASSUME_PROVIDED
this since we don't have it in OE. Yes, it's a documentation issue, but then
again, the qvga theme is rarely requested anyways.
As for the latter problem, which computer/distro are you building on?

If that screenshot is from your OpenMoko system, then it seems the OpenMoko
matchbox theme is missing.

openmoko-theme-standard2-qvga was installed with the image. I figured out the
grey popping boxes on bottom are gsm messages from libnotify. After restarting
matchbox-window-manager it looked a bit better but no window decorations. (see
second attachment) somehow the only decoration theme I get is the blue thing.

You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla
bugsystem (http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/) that require
attention.
All of these bugs are in the NEW state, and have not been touched
in 7 days or more. You need to take a look at them, and
decide on an initial action.
Generally, this means one of three things:
(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to someone
else. (Hint: if you don't know who to reassign it to, make sure that
the Component field seems reasonable, and then use the "Reassign bug to
owner of selected component" option.)
(3) You decide the bug belongs to you, but you can't solve it this moment.
Just use the "Accept bug" command.
To get a list of all NEW bugs, you can use this URL (bookmark it if you like!):
http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&[EMAIL
PROTECTED]
Or, you can use the general query page, at
http://bugzilla.openmoko.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/query.cgi.
Appended below are the individual URLs to get to all of your NEW bugs that
haven't been touched for a week or more.
You will get this message once a day until you've dealt with these bugs!

I've added 22x22 icons to openmoko-standard icon theme, so a special qvga
version of the icon theme should no longer be required.
