Comment(by marek):
What is the "ghost window" bug ? That sounds scary but fits in the world
of daemons, zombies, etc. ;-)
Exposure runs the mainloop all the time - should not be an issue.

#1530: Modem only repeats +CBM Qtopia is not sending anything on wake
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
Reporter: zecke | Owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone:
Component: unknown | Version: GTA02v5
Severity: normal | Keywords: Qtopia, GSM, Calypso
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
We get the following over suspend/resume cycles from Qtopia. For some
reason the modem reports plenty of cell broadcast messages (all having the
same content) and Qtopia does not send any command anymore. Specially on
wakeup ATE0 and AT+CREG should be send but that is not the case.
I have no idea if this is a modem or Qtopia issue. To debug one would have
to look into what Qtopia thinks about flow control, the internal state of
the atchat queue and what it is trying to do.
One explanation would be the modem refuses to take any commands but keeps
sending cell broadcast. Another one would be an ordinary Qtopia bug.
Below is raster's Qtopia log with a SIM card in australia.
