I'm running qtopia-phone-x11-addressbook_4.3.2
I try to import my contact:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/Qtopia/lib /opt/Qtopia/bin/addressbook
/home/root/addressbook.vcf
Every thing works, except if I'm asked if I want to import the contacts
there is no "ok" button or something similar. So it does not proceed.

I only see "Home" in the task list, no pin menu or other tasks around..

Would that help :
http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/ASU_Keyboard_Toggle#Reactivating_the_keyboard_toggle_under_ASU
?
Didn't try it myself : seems too hackish for time being.
Oh, and this is a defect, useability-wise, in particular for non-english
speakers : sending an SMS in french is almost impossible :(

Well when i still had ASU (as i said before i switched back to 2007.2 as i
was at least able to use my openmoko as my primary phone with this
distribution) installed i didn't see anything that was related to PIN-
entry, i didn't check the output of ps via terminal (btw. PLEASE include
some kind of terminal-application into the standard-distribution, in my
eyes linux without some kind of access to the commandline is unusable) or
ssh tho

There are lots of complaints about this on the users side.
We paid for the device, we're concerned, I guess we can ask for its
reopening.

Comment(by lock):
i think that is a normal behaviour, becouse if you tray to kill qpe you
got an alert which message exactly the same as in in the ''ps aux'', and
also if you type ''app-restarter --help'' you can see that, that is only a
proces to keep running qpe and restarting it if it crash or fail.
but thre are problems which connecting to the GSM network. in my case i
cloud recieve calls but i can't make a coll becouse of an alert (i can't
remember the alert message and don't have om2008.8 on FR but i'll check it
morning) ... and that is a poblem. ''tray icon'' (the one, left of battery
icon) looks like phone is out of the range of GMS transmitter. i've tray
which packages form dayli-feed repo and have same problems.
my friend has also the same problem (which connecting to GMS network) on
Om2008.8 (we both leave in Poland in same city)

Comment(by thomasb):
Sorry, forget the log that I posted, the error messages look more like
good old #666. I thought that I had this SIM card working once in my
Freerunner, but I must have mixed something up.
The error messages in the other logs look different, though, so I guess
this bug remains valid.
