#1967: [kernel] image and modules not in sync

Comment(by zecke):
Om2008.8-gta02-20080902.rootfs.jffs2 what kind of image is that? An URL
to it would help. Is that a stable image and then you upgraded to a
testing/unstable feed?
Does this happen with installing a fresh testing image and kernel or is
this a product of upgrades switching from stable to testing?

1.) Just keep an eye open.
2.-4.)
We use busybox's syslogd. The documentation of it can be found at
http://busybox.net. It should be possible to make it log to a file (our
default is a ringbuffer), it should be possible to make it log more
(/etc/syslog.conf) to the ringbuffer.

- Did you follow http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/MokoMakefile? I assume you
missed make setup and make setup-machine-freerunner.
- And the support mailinglist or the #openmoko irc channel might be better
places for such kind of issues.

If the messagebox is empty, the message-icon is disabled.
This will make it impossible to create a new message.
I changed the init-function of zhone to enable the icon, and that resolved
the issue, even if it's a quick hack.

#1970: ar6k does not print newline after disconnect message

This is purely cosmetic, but annoying.
The ar6k wifi driver does not print a newline after the informational
message when disconnecting from an AP. This leads to cluttered dmesg
output like the following:
AR6000 disconnected from 00:02:cf:85:c6:08 AR6000 connected event on freq
2412 with bssid 00:02:cf:85:c6:08 listenInterval=100, beaconInterval =
100, beaconIeLen = 0 assocReqLen=27 assocRespLen =22
What is expected, is something like:
AR6000 disconnected from 00:02:cf:85:c6:08
AR6000 connected event on freq 2412 with bssid 00:02:cf:85:c6:08
listenInterval=100, beaconInterval = 100, beaconIeLen = 0 assocReqLen=27
assocRespLen =22
The upside of this is that it gives me a nice simple patch to send in as
my first contribution to OpenMoko.
Cheers

With
http://git.openmoko.org/?p=qtopia.git;a=commit;h=a1d8c1294df28136452eb5645eb90f6b1820af73
and
http://git.openmoko.org/?p=qtopia.git;a=commit;h=906a00fdcb89fdcc8252f84a76625eb42c8fe302
this is now configurable and defaults to off.
Changes in regard to your patch. The keyboard will only be shown after one
clicked in the findbar. This has the benefit to not use most of the screen
in the "common" case (obviously subjective and from my point of view). The
commit message has a note what to do to get it enabled.
Now it is up to product management to decide the default.
