Comment(by nicolas.dufresne):
I'm convince this is a duplicate of #1841. The bug is triggered sometimes
when resuming the jbt driver. I confirm that disabling the jbt suspend
removes the bug (no an actual fix).

Comment(by nicolas.dufresne):
Andy: I've try the reset switch but it won't clear the white screen. I can
see the kernel output telling me it did something. I've also try to
manually switch the driver state, but again it did not clear the WSOD.
Maybe we have to reset everything on the SPI ?
Note that I've produce the bug without suspend (just blanking) and I'm
running latest andy-tracking kernel (2.6.28-GTA02_andy-
tracking_b6d34d41617a6315-mokodev)

I've tested it with kernel from your site and my own build. Unfortunately
it does not work for me (I'll attach the dmesg right after). Do you think
it's because I'm using U-Boot instead of QI ?

I've looked closer and with both binaries (mine and Andy) the printk does
not match the code. I'll clean build and try again.

Ok, I found what I did wrong in my first test. I've confirmed that now the
Freerunner is charging, but there is still a small issue, status still
display Discharging and online 0. They seem not to be updated. Note that
this fixed the health field (which was displaying Unknown before).

Replying to [comment:22 safire]:

nhead=1 is better than 0.
I just wanted to let you know that I updated the skip filter patch. It had
some bugs.
It should be much better now.
I'm about to send a patch for the andy-tracking kernel that includes a
similar filter since we will need it anyway. Thus this filter might be
useful just for the actual stable kernel.
Regards.

#2150: package illume-0.0+svnr35818-r13: task do_fetch: failed

Comment(by julian_chu):
Hi, thanks for the report.
E upstream changed the path of illume. Openmoko fixed the revision of
illume to 36882 before E do a new release.
However, the path of illume supposed to be correct with revision 36882.
something interesting is that svn command will fail if you use "svn co -r
36882 http://URL/illume" but successed if you use "svn co
http://URL/[EMAIL PROTECTED]". It means you will get different result if you
use different checkout command.
The bad news is that OE use previous one so it will be failed.
The good news is that there is a cache on downloads.openmoko.org/sources/.
OE will checkout it first.
We are trying to solve this problem.

#2109: Upgrade path error from Om2008.9 to testing
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
Reporter: john_lee | Owner: tick
Type: defect | Status: in_testing
Priority: high | Milestone:
Component: Distro | Version: Om2008.9-dev
Severity: normal | Keywords: Om2008.11
Haspatch: 0 | Blockedby:
Estimated: | Patchreview:
Blocking: | Reproducible: always

Comment(by tick):
After testing upgrading from Om2008.9 to testing, the repository upgrade
path is in a good shape now. With opkg svn 4838. I can do upgrading in 25
mins, where the repository is in nearby network. That is much faster than
before.
However, I found another issue, that we may need to upgrade twice to get
all packages upgraded. I believe it's a bug in opkg dependency
calculation. I will file another ticket to describe this issue. This issue
also happens in older version of opkg. Still need to dig in.
For this ticket, I think in OE it's good now.
