Yeah we can't fix this from the 7 month old description, SD Card generally
is stable for a long time, so closing as invalid

Yes it seems the same issue, Balaji is looking at it on 1744, so close
this as a dupe.

Hi,
We don't see this problem in our phones, then we don't know how to test
this...
Does this fix for anyone then we can close this ticket?

Comment(by andy):
I have Nicolas' patch on andy-tracking since yesterday.
What we should do is wait a while for someone else who saw it to confirm
they don't see it any more when using a kernel with the patch.
The LCM problems are very difficult because different LCMs act differently
-- according to temperature as well -- so the issues are not always
reproducible in a simple way. But the problems are still real.

#2243: [Xglamo] some motion events are thrashed

Comment(by Richard.Kralovic):
After some more testing, it seems that no kernel modifications are
necessary. Modifying the motion event handling (as in the attached xglamo
patch) solves the problem completely (at least for me).

Comment(by lindi):
This still happens with andy-tracking 81da012eb0fff1bc. sushama, are you
running any other processes that could control display brightness? Do you
see the characters being read with strace? If I "chvt 1" I can see that
"[P" is written to console when I switch to gsmhandset.state.

This issue have been fix by newest Om2008.12 image.
You won't hear the echo and you can have a volume bar to adjust the volume
level.
