#2331: frameworkd stops working after gprs disconnect
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: ruebe | Owner: openmoko-devel
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: normal | Milestone:
Component: unknown | Version:
 Severity: normal | Keywords:
 Haspatch: 0 | Blockedby:
Estimated: | Patchreview:
 Blocking: | Reproducible:
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
After terminating a gprs connection, frameworkd seems to stop working. It
doesn't respond to any requests made by mdbus and I'm not able to make or
receive calls. The only way to get the (gsm part of the) phone working
again is either killing frameworkd and restarting it or rebooting.

 I'm using SHR
 (uImage-2.6.29-oe11+gitr119861+a15608f241a40b41fed5bffe511355c2067c4e88-r7
 -om-gta02.bin and full-om-gta02.jffs2 dated 25 Jan 2010). A log of
commands I've issued and debug outputs is attached.

 outputs is attached.

I bootet OM and used the following commands.
 {{{
 r...@om-gta02 ~ $ mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd
 /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device org.freesmartphone.GSM.PDP.GetContextStatus
 'release'
 r...@om-gta02 ~ $ mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd
 /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device org.freesmartphone.GSM.PDP.ActivateContext
 "web" "[email protected]" "web"
 r...@om-gta02 ~ $ mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd
 /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device org.freesmartphone.GSM.PDP.GetContextStatus
 'active'
 r...@om-gta02 ~ $ mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd
 /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device
 org.freesmartphone.GSM.PDP.DeactivateContext
 r...@om-gta02 ~ $ mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd
 /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device org.freesmartphone.GSM.PDP.GetContextStatus
 Killed
 r...@om-gta02 ~ $ mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.ogsmd
 /org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device org.freesmartphone.GSM.PDP.ActivateContext

 r...@om-gta02 ~ $
 }}}
Where it says "Killed" I killed the mdbus-process after about 5 minutes of
 no reaction.
