I've tried to use fw_setenv. I don't understand anything!
It shows me the environment, it looks ok. I can set the variables there,
alright. But they have no effect on what i see in u-boot prompt. After
reboot, when i issue fw_printenv under linux, i see changed values again.
Looks like we live in different manvantaras.
Are the settings for GTA02v6 proper?

Your fw_env.config looks ok. Maybe you are booting u-boot from NOR?

Hm, i'm not very sure in these matters...
What i'm doing now is trying to make the device work, i have problem with
highdensity card. I want a kernel that boots (i think the one stored on
inner flash, it's NAND, no?) to have glamo parameters tweaked from the
command line. And i've figured that i cannot set the parameters to
persistent values.
Maybe i'm doing something terribly wrong, i don't know...

What output do you get from
strings /dev/mtdblock0 | grep ^U-Boot | head -n1
and
strings /dev/mtdblock1 | grep ^U-Boot | head -n1
commands? Also, what version number does u-boot console report?

No strings on my system, but the first hit of 'od -c /dev/mtdblock0 |grep
-A5 "U -"' (if we're lucky and U- are one the same line) looks like:
0461420 0 \0 006 \0 005 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 \0 U - B o
0461440 o t 1 . 3 . 2 - m o k o 1 2
0461460 ( M a y 9 2 0 0 8 - 1
0461500 0 : 2 8 : 4 8 ) \0 \0 \0 \0 234 z 372 3

I cannot find anything there (tried with different possible lines
splitting)

It's 1.3.2-moko12
PS. Funny, trac interprets carets in text...
PS. I'm answering to gena2x too, i'm confused now.

I've tried with envedit.pl, and there they are, my settings. But i don't
see them in /proc/cmdline. That must be because of my misunderstanding of
the boot process, they're fetched from wrong place...

Comment(by lindi):
aikipooh, your NOR has u-boot 1.3.2-moko12. Your NAND does not seem to
have u-boot. You can not modify NOR. Maybe your AUX button is stuck so
that you always boot NOR?
