Latest DEV ISO (12/30/06) fails to boot on my fairly new Dell Optiplex 745. I tried with and without ACPI. Kernel gets fairly far then stops completely with the following message:
ATA3 Slave: ATAPI identify retries exceeded I suspect it is more of a hardware problem than DF but just thought I'd let know. Will be happy to help if would like. -- Scott N
